Is this
the first time you're hearing of female genital cosmetic surgery?
|
|
No, I'm in the print
media and have been aware for some time, the length to which the airbrushing
has to go to appease censors - protruding labia is deemed "more
obscene" which is an obscenity in itself. |

|
Would you
re-design your vagina? – why? |
|
I have to have surgery
to correct a vaginal prolapse. It's not externally visible (to a non-professional
anyway) but it needs to be "hoisted up" internally. If it
wasn't physically uncomfortable at different times of the month, I wouldn't
bother with it as it doesn't affect my sex life adversely in the least.

This conversation
makes me think... |

What a terrible
pity it is, that perfectly normal, healthy beautiful vaginas can be
thought of as needed 'corrective surgery' merely because of social conditioning
of aesthetics. It's disgusting. |
