Designer Vaginas?

Is this the first time you're hearing of female genital cosmetic surgery?

No, I'm in the print media and have been aware for some time, the length to which the airbrushing has to go to appease censors - protruding labia is deemed "more obscene" which is an obscenity in itself.

Would you re-design your vagina? – why?

I have to have surgery to correct a vaginal prolapse. It's not externally visible (to a non-professional anyway) but it needs to be "hoisted up" internally. If it wasn't physically uncomfortable at different times of the month, I wouldn't bother with it as it doesn't affect my sex life adversely in the least.

This conversation makes me think... What a terrible pity it is, that perfectly normal, healthy beautiful vaginas can be thought of as needed 'corrective surgery' merely because of social conditioning of aesthetics. It's disgusting.
