gynecologist
review response 11 |
how old are
you, and for how long have you been seeing your gynecologist?
I am 27 and have been seeing one since I was 16
how did you
find your first gynecologist? did your mother talk to you about it; did
she take you to see hers?
I was scared. And no she didn't. I didn't like him.
do you feel
comfortable to ask questions about your body, what you are experiencing,
to discuss your sex-life?
I have with some but not with others mostly I prefer to talk to female ones. It's easier for me. But with my current on (they keep moving away I live in a small town) I don't feel as comfortable because she's my husband's cousin.
how often
do you see your gynecologist? what does a regular exam consist of?
once a year just the standard test. and a breast exam.
would you
recommend your gynecologist - why, or why not?
Yeah I would she's good and easy to talk to.
what are
all the factors that go into how you feel about your experience with
your gyno?
does the reception and nursing staff play a role?
is there good reading material in the waiting room?
The setting and my wait.
yes a big one you see or talk to them more than the doctor. Especially when your pregnant.
Sometimes they have some good mags but I always bring a book incase.
is there something more
you'd like to be getting from your gynecologist that you aren't?
no not really
have you been treated
for a disease or disorder? what was it? was it easily diagnosed? what
treatment was prescribed, and was it successful?
I had genital worts yes they were easily diagnosed. and I had to use this cream for so many days. And they were gone.
this conversation makes
me think....
I'm dreading my exam coming up but I need to make an appt.
