For the record, the vagina is actually the canal inside. What I think of as the face of the vagina—the lips, the clitoris, the clitoris' hood, etc. all the parts you can see—that is called the vulva. I think it's actually quite cute, kind of small except for my inner labia - I'm really embarrassed about them. They're dark and thick and kind of bunch up together, but don't protrude too much until I'm aroused. I like my clitoral hood, I think it looks good.

In real life I've only seen other women's pubic area, and not their actual vulvas. I have seen other women's vulvas when looking at nude photos and porn. I really resent the fact most pornstars have small, pinkish labia. It makes me feel ugly. Also, the fact that there's so many slang words like "meat curtains" just makes me dread ever having to have sex with guy, I don't want someone thinking my genitals resemble a roast beef sandwich!

I'm 18. I've always looked at it during early childhood and never thought much of it. It wasn't until I was 11/12 when I started masturbating did I start to think it was "abnormal" looking. Ever since I've had a sort of love/hate relationship. Recently I've been fascinated and can't stop looking, mostly because I'm trying to justify to myself that's it looks okay (doesn't seem to work though).

I haven't had lovers before, mostly because I don't socialise much. I hope when I eventually get the courage to, that the guy I'm with doesn't think it's weird looking. Or better, he doesn't think of it at all! That would be fine. But this is unlrealistic as most young men (these days anyway) are used to jerking off to the same type of vulvas in porn, and might find my labia a bit off-putting.
