For the record, the vagina is actually the canal inside. What I think of as the face of the vagina—the lips, the clitoris, the clitoris' hood, etc. all the parts you can see—that is called the vulva. Yes, I do. I'm very petite but I didn't get cheated on genitalia. I have huge, puffy but smooth outer lips and a very tall but tight vagina, so when I wear certain swimsuit bottoms especially thongs its outline is pretty obvious. But you can still see my inner lips and clitoral hood. It's not like the "ideal" slit I read about where women are getting cosmetically altered to where thinner outer lips hide the inner lips and hood, but my husband likes it because he says it is so prominent and so womanly (i.e. as far away from a penis and scrotum as possible). Also, I have a huge freckle, the diameter of a pea, on the upper left overlapping the edge of my outer lip. It makes me very distinct and unique which I like. It's got a good healthy dark pink color (darker than the rest of me, being a aple-skinned redhead). Of course this is shaved, at least everything below the abdomen, because otherwise I am incredibly hairy, thick even between my inner and outer lips which I definitely do not like.

I've seen a few in photos, paintings, and on the beach, and a few friends' in bathrooms or wherever. It's interesting to briefly compare, but other than noting differences I never give it another thought; why should I?

I'm 33. I don't think I've taken a look at it live for some time. I'm seen some pictures of it (my husband takes them to show me how he styles my pubic hair above my genitalia -- I have him shave me). I guess the first time I ever really noticed it was when I began to grow hair on it when I was around 8 or 9. It's just not something I think about because the important thing is not its look but rather how to stimulate it to achieve orgasm.

What on earth could ever make a woman want to have cosmetic surgery on her genitals? There are much more important things in life to worry about than how your vulva looks. As long as your husband is eager to service it, that's all that matters.
