• what messages were you given directly? that is: what did your mother, father, family, friends & teachers say or not- say to you about your vagina, vulva, or your body, or female bodies in general?
• what messages did you receive indirectly via advertising images, tv, movies, other media & institutions?
• what expectations, beliefs, fears and hopes did any/all of the above this set up in you?
• how did you feel, think, believe then? and now?

the salon program schedule:

3:00 - 3:30 pm: We say hello, view the v-book, check out what I'm painting. Each in our way, we settle in.
3:30 - 3:40 pm: I introduce the topic.
3:40 - 5:00 pm: We discuss, debate, consider, delight, get disgruntled, listen, question <- your choice.
5:00 - 5:30 pm: We wind down: So, how was that? What do you think? How do you feel now? Did we come to any conclusions or consensus, I wonder? Do we want to take this further and how?
5:30 - 6:00 pm: We disengage, float, exchange contact info if you like, say good-bye & thank you for participating!
