your expectations of what the experience would be like prior to losing
your virginity?

I expected
it to hurt like hell and there to be loads of blood, as i had never used
tampons or been especially sporty, therefore i had expected my hymen
to still be intact.

the night of my 16th birthday.
I had always expected to lose it at an older age.

I had
a party the night before my birthday for all my friends. On the night,
my parents were out of town all night for a family friends 40th birthday.
My boyfriend, who i had been with for three years came around with my
present, and my favourit film. We put the video on, and sat together
on the sofa. In the past we had been as far as touching each others genitals,
but usually just kissed. When the film finished, we turned the lights
down low, and returned to the sofa. My boyfriend began to run his hands
up my leg towards my vagina. I began to feel really turned on. I took
my boyfriends hand and led him upstairs to my parents room. We undressed
each other slowly, and i noticed how hard his penis had become. He took
a condom from his jacket pocket and put it on. I lay back and he slowly
moved his penis inside me. I expected lots of blood and pain at this
stage, but it felt wonderful. We made love for about ten minutes and
we both came.
My boyfriend wasn't a virgin before, and i think this helped a lot, as
it meant at least one of us knew what we were doing, and it made the
whole experience a lot more enjoyable. He was very gentle, and didn't
force me into anything.
We had spoke about sex before it happened, but never in much detail.

My friends
said it would hurt, and that condoms felt awful inside you, but i had
a different experience.
My mum had always told me to take it slowly and only sleep with someone
special. I told my mum that i had lost my virginity soon after, and she
was very proud of me for being careful. She even went out out and bought
a box of condoms for us to use in the future, so that we could avoid
any problems
