virginity story 48
| |
what does "losing
your virginity" mean to you? - define the term, and then tell us
about what the experience signified for you...
The first
time a penis is inside your vagina.
| |
what were
your expectations of what the experience would be like prior to losing
your virginity?
I really
had no idea...I was too young to even know what an orgasm was or to expect
one.
| |
how old were
you, and was this the age when expected or intended to lose your virginity?
13.
Not at all--I was embarrassed into it, somewhat by my best friend who
had already lost her virginity at a christian summer camp at age 12!
She seemed to think it was the right time and I went along with her.
| |
what did
it feel like? was there blood? did your partner know it was your first
time and did you talk about it before?
My partner
was also 13. He was barely into puberty and not very "developed" so
there was no blood or pain. The blood came with my next experience at
15...and it was painful and not much fun. I continued to bleed every
time we had sex for probably a half a dozen times.
| |
what did
your mother, family, friends tell you about losing your virginity...
My
best friend is the only one who knew--she was right there when it happend
and she'd already lost hers, so she was probably the reason I allowed
it to happen so early. I allowed myself to be embarrassed to be a virgin...at
13?!
| |
what would/did you tell
your daughter about losing her virginity...
That it is not much
fun unless you are in a relationship of mutual love, compassion and respect.
The wanting is a lot more fun than the having until you are ready.

this conversation
makes me think...
It's too bad our reproductive
systems mature before our brains do...
