my earliest memory of my vagina is...

I mean, I was born with it so I've pretty much always known it was there. LOL! But when I was younger it was just something that made me go pee.

5th grade? Yeah, we (my friends) found a book on puberty in the library and we all liked what we were reading so we would all pass the book around.

I was 14. I went swimming at my aunt's house and when I went to the bathroom there was like a tiny drop of a light brownish colored liquid. I didn't panic, I just was like okay, whatever. Then the very next day I had a lot more of that stuff and I realized then what was going on.

I was 18, (I'm 19 now!) and it was with my current boyfriend. We were at the park late one night and decided we could go all the way. I wasn't pressured and I'm the one who initiated it. We were already in love and had been dating for quite sometime so everything felt right. It didn't last long because my shrieks and squeals made him feel uneased so he stopped. I have no regrets and they timing couldn't have been any better. We're still together now and engaged. :)

what I told/would tell my daughter about her vagina...

I would give her a whole talk on puberty around the time she's 9 or 10. I mean, I won't get "too gross" because I know how that can be. I'd just pretty much cover the basics with her and let her come to me if she wants to know the details.

It makes me think of how much I've grown through the years and learned from the things around me. From girl to woman!
